Network Spotlight: Maryland Family Network

How does a long-establishedFRC Network adapt to a changing family landscape and position effectively for growth?

This webinar will spotlight the Maryland Family Network (MFN), the state-wide intermediary organization overseeing the Network of Family Support Centers (FSCs).  Established in 1986, the Network has grown to include a dozen FSCs, with more in the pipeline.  The opportunity for growth has led the MFN to reflect on its work and refine both its FSC model and Network processes to be more responsive and inclusive. Network Spotlight: New York City’s Family Enrichment Centers

What perspective and lessons learned does NYC share with other cities and stakeholders thinking of developing Family Resource Centers? 

This webinar highlighted New York City’s Family Enrichment Centers (FECs), initially developed as a pilot by the Administration for Children’s Services with three Centers in 2017, and expanding with an additional nine Centers in 2022. Presenters shared how the FECs impact system inequities, create opportunities for parent leadership, and increase the protective factors of families in their communities.
