The National Family Support Network conducts annual Member Convenings to support and strengthen networks through peer learning and sharing on emerging, promising, and best practices. Since 2016, the Convening is held immediately preceding the National Family Support Forum each May in Washington, DC.

Member Convening 2020 Update
Be sure to save the date for the Member Convening & Forum May 19-21, 2020 to join your colleagues from across the country for this unique once a year in-person opportunity for peer learning and sharing on effective Network functioning, connecting with National Partners, and raising the visibility of your valuable work through the Capitol Hill Briefing/Forum and legislative visits.  The Convening Committee, chaired by Natalie Towns (GA), is working diligently to plan our time together to be most useful for you.  View the current schedule outline here

Please note that the Forum and Capitol Hill Briefings have been combined into one event this year, which reduces the number of hotel nights.  The NFSN has not yet secured funding for needs-based travel scholarships, so please plan accordingly.

The registration rates for the Member Convening will remain the same as in 2019: Early Bird (register by approximately March 15), $275 and Regular Registration, $325.  There will also be an opportunity to visit a new Families First Family Success Center in Washington DC for an additional fee.

The NFSN has secured a discounted rate at the
Residence Inn by Marriott, a short walk from the Convening venue, at $256/night, plus tax.  Reserve your room here before Sunday, April 19, 2020. Reservations can also be made by calling 1(800) 331-3131.
