The National Family Support Network conducts an annual Member Convening to support and strengthen Family Resource Center Networks through peer learning and sharing on emerging, promising, and best practices. The event is held each May in conjunction with the annual Capitol Hill Day.

Dates and Schedule Overview

Please plan for travel on Monday, May 18, 2026. Visit a Maryland FRC on Monday afternoon.

An informal, no-host Welcome Mix & Mingle will take place Monday evening, May 18.

The Member Convening and Capitol Hill Day will take place Tuesday, May 19, through Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Washington, DC, and Arlington, VA.

Optional Activity: Visit a Maryland FRC!
On Monday, May 18, the day before the Convening begins, there will be optional visits to one of the Maryland Family Network’s Family Resource Centers, the Kingdom Kare FRC in Odenton, MD. Coordinated third-party rideshare transportation, such as Uber or Lyft, is included as part of the tour. The tour group will depart from the Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capital View at 1:00 p.m. and return at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Participation in the tour and use of coordinated transportation are optional. Please notify NFSN in advance if you have any transportation-related accessibility needs. Space is limited to 30 individuals. To purchase your FRC Tour ticket, click here. More additional optional activities below.

There is no coordinated transportation for Members to and from Capitol Hill on Tuesday, May 19th.

It is recommended to take a rideshare back to Arlington for the Anniversary Celebration from Capitol Hill after 2:30pm to avoid extended transport times on public transit.

The 15th Anniversary Celebration and Convening will be held at the Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capitol View. The Residence Inn has a complimentary shuttle service to and from Ronald Reagan Airport and the local Crystal City area.

Your FY25-26 Membership dues include one (1) discounted registration.

Key Network contacts have received a separate email with instructions on how to access and apply the discount.

Early bird registration: $650, available through March 27, 2026. Regular registration: $750 March 28- May 1, 2026. Registration is refundable through March 24, 2026 at 5:00 pm ET.

A late fee will apply for registrations purchased between May 2-May 15. Contact Robyn to register after May 1.

Payment methods will include: Credit card via Stripe on the NFSN website, ACH or check. To pay by check input the appropriate information on the registration form and Michael Jones will send you an invoice.

Parking at the Residence Inn Member Convening Venue: The Group Rate does not include parking.
