Jennifer Johnson-Dungey joined the National Family Support Network in 2024, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in training, management, and advocacy positions in the nonprofit, public department, and business sectors. Her last position was as the Social Service Program Coordinator for Healthy Families Travis County in Texas, specializing in data management and grants.
She is passionate about serving and supporting others, meeting the community where they are at, and helping to amplify community voices. Her work has centered on marginalized groups. She is a certified Community Health Worker Instructor, Certified Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, Passenger Safety Technician, and Period of Purple Crying Trainer. She is also certified on Touchpoints and as a Postpartum Doula.
She was first introduced to the NFSN in 2023, when she successfully completed the Standards of Quality for Strengthening & Support Certification Training, and implemented the Standards in her work. She especially resonated with the Standards’ focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the tools to quantify the data and show how the work being done calculates into measured impact.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two children and her husband, traveling, reading, spending time at the beach, and showing up for her children’s’ sports and activities.
